Dienst Veilige Toegang

The new way to log in to EDSN services. What it is and how it works can be found here.

What is Dienst Veilige Toegang?

Dienst Veilige Toegang (DVT) is the new way to log in to the services EDSN provides on behalf of the joint grid operators. In the future, it will ensure that you'll only need a single account to log in to the EDSN services you have access to.

How do I request a user account?

As a user, you can request a user account from your organization's administrator. If you don't know who this is, you can fill out the account request form.

As an administrator, you can easily add users to your organization. Go to Dienst Veilige Toegang and click the 'gebruikers' tab. Click '+ gebruiker' in the top right corner and enter the information. Under dienstrole, select which rights (within an application) the user will have access to.

How do I activate my account?

Activating your account starts with an email from Dienst Veilige Toegang. This email contains a link to set a password. If you haven't received an email, please check your spam folder first. Still haven't received an email? Then please contact the EDSN service desk via [email protected] or log a ticket via the Self Service Portaal.

In addition to activating your accounts, it's important to set up two-step verification to secure your account. We use Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for this. In the manual Hoe gebruik ik dienst veilige toegang you will find more information about activating your account and the steps for MFA.
